Software Development Engineer

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be results orientated, have experience doing software development as part of a team, solid communications skills, and a desire to grow their software engineering skills.



Qualification Requirements:

Bachelors Degree (software related) or equivalent experience

C++ Knowledge

SQL Server experience

ADO .NET experience

Strong verbal and written communication

Ability to stay organized and focused while supporting multiple areas of shifting technical and conceptual complexity.

Ability to work independently, with general direction from supervisor



Position Responsibilities:

Develop software for retail systems

Meet development schedules

Follow development guidelines and procedures

Produce design documents and functional specifications

Take software requirements and turn them into estimates of work.



Additional Attributes:

VB .Net Knowledge a plus

Visual Basic knowledge a plus

Retail Point of Sale development experience a plus
