Basic FunctionThe basic function of the Senior Software Engineer is to provide technical solutions to projects dealing with one or more highly specialized applications of systems analysis and programming and doing so by applying a comprehensive body of knowledge to all phases of application development.II. Organizational RelationshipsA. Line1. Responsible to the Director of Application & Services Development for the successful performance of all duties and responsibilities.B. Staff 1. Works closely with the business departments, external customers and suppliers.III. Major Duties, Responsibilities and Characteristics A. Perform analysis, design, program, and make modifications for software products and business function automations in an agile process framework.B. Analyze business process requirements and develop system engineering designs in the context of interactive processes.C. Write procedure code, test functionality, document steps and debug applications.D. Determine the forms, procedures, and documentation needed for installation and maintenance of application programs.E. Analyze business processes that can be improved through technology and business process reengineering.F. Interactively participate with stakeholders during system analysis and design.G. Define and document requirements for system development and product acquisition.H. Meet change management requirements for project initiatives including documentation, communication and pricing.I. Document all changes in functionality or technology where applicable.J. React to issues related to applications and products and provide timely and quality resolution to achieve the highest levels of reliability and availability.K. Provide project estimates and generate development objectives, IT plans and time box schedules.L. Other responsibilities as assigned.IV. Methods of AccountabilityA. Job QualificationsA. College degree or equivalent work experience.B. 5+ years experience with high level programming languages including C# and .net frameworks in a CAB model.C. Knowledge of relationship database concepts, software, hardware and communications.D. Experience with application development in .net and SQL at a mega project level.E. Experience with application movement, manipulation, and presentation.F. Able to build and integrate complex systems.G. Experience with interactive methods such as Agile or Agile with SCRUM.H. Proactive and creative problem solving skills.I. Strong planning and organizational skills.J. Able to handle and manage multiple tasks within specific timeframes.K.
