Our continued success and growth has produced a need for the following position with our Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities:  The qualified candidate will work in the Charlotte NC office and be an integral part in the continued success and growth of the Sales Team.  This position requires high energy level with a focus toward customers and a strong desire to succeed.  Good organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communications skills and ability to persuade and close sales required.  Must be able to handle a variety of situations encountered during sales process and work with minimal supervision.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:·  Sell fire sprinkler service to new and existing customers.·  Establish contact with prospect and qualify potential buyers of sprinkler service by scheduling sales calls, following up leads and utilizing proven marketing strategies·  Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company service offerings·  Close sufficient sales to meet sales plan objectives·  Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog that will support achieving the designed sales plan·  Conduct building surveys to support the development of estimates·  Maintain correct and complete records of all sales related activities·  Submit all required sales reports, expenses, competitive activity and correspondence in an accurate and timely manner·  Develop a positive ongoing relationship with customers to ensure that SimplexGrinnell is meeting their requirements to ensure long-term customer loyalty·  Support the service department to generate leads for service or equipment/device upgrades·  Perform other duties as required The Qualified Candidate Will Possess the Following: High School degree 1 to 3 years verifiable experience in either sales or fire protection industry.  Preference given to candidate with fire sprinkler experience.
