Sr Analyst, Testing
Job Description:Dimension & Scope:To provide technical support in the creationset upexecution and maintenance of the testing environment platforms. To ensure the quality of new software and hardware does not negatively impact our customers. Lead in the more complex feature/new product testing and software/hardware integration testing for two or more systemsincluding stress and volume testing.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Develop test plans and test most complex new feature functionality which provides new products and services, and includes items which enhance systems flexibility, reliability and maintainability.Perform most complex integration, stress/volume and regression testing on new software.Manage most complex software patch testing and applications.Assist developers in second level resolution for trouble escalation.Review software/vendor documentation to ensure feature functionality requirements are delivered.Negotiate with vendors concerning software/hardware matters of feature functionality and delivery.Lead and perform interoperability testing.Develop and implement new test cases for feature validation.Participate in the coordination of site schedules for software/hardware verification.Manage vendors or other departmental groups to ensure goals and objectives are met.Train and develop lower level employees.Conduct workshops to transfer knowledge to the operational technical owners.Ensure that test schedules and plans are followed and executed properly. Ensure assigned testing system problems are documented, assigned, communicated, and appropriately resolved, including tracking reports for software and hardware validation. Verify that all scheduled processing in the test environment is completed in accordance with schedules.Lead team in implementation of new application systems and software into the more complex testing environments.Provide technical leadership in response to user requests and in the resolution of more complex issues and problems.Perform standards verification in increasingly complex testing environments.Provide technical solutions and improvements to the more complex testing environments through use of skills, experience, and leadership.Ensure all impacted organizations are coordinated with and represented.Education & Professional Certifications:Movement into TCPBachelor’s Degree in related technical disciplineAndFour years relevant experience Or Master’s Degree in related technical discipline AndMinimum two years relevant experienceOr Minimum eight years relevant experience without college degree.Movement within TCPMinimum two years experience in B2 Level TCP position.Candidate Profile:Experience in data processing, JCL, SQL, UNIX, scheduling skills, TSO, is recommended.Experience in mechanized testing tools and platforms (e.g., Hammer, Test Director, Winrunner, Loadrunner).For CTI and IVR testing, experience is desired within CTI and IVR program disciplines.Excellent oral and written communication skillsClear understanding of project’s role in meeting departmental objectivesAdvanced business knowledge and excellent project management skillsAbility to work independently with little or no supervision on a complex projectExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsMust have proficiency with various software applications programs including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, and ExcelCustomer service and detail orientedEnvironment, Physical & Other Requirements:NAMinimum Education Required: BachelorExpected Travel Time: None Contact Information: intConfig Email: Apply by Email
