Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s). Position Dimensions:Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Works with various business units to determine new IT requirements and to resolve technical problems. Specific Duties:May perform one or more of the following: Participates in cross-functional projects. Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness. Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Analyzes, plans and implements process improvement (such as Six Sigma initiative) needs. Produces new process improvement techniques and services. Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards. Measures performance against process requirements, aligning improvement projects to close performance shortfalls. Evaluate or recommend software for testing or bug tracking. All other duties as assignedSkills Set Requested: 3+ years experience in Business Systems Analysis Experience. Strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets and databases. Experience using QA Regression Tools for mainframe and windows applications a plus. Six Sigma Training a plus Experience with MS Office Applications including Word, Excel, Project, SQL, and Access. Experience working with SQL Tables and Queries.
