This position interfaces with the marketing department and our sales work force to provide technical product assistance in support of marketing and sales activities. This position routinely interacts with FDAH veterinary and lay customers to provide technical assistance. Job Responsibilities: Collects, investigates, and records adverse events to fulfill regulatory requirements. Resolves outstanding customer relations issues associated with adverse drug events. Regularly works and interfaces with Veterinary customers and influencers, Product Managers, Territory managers, Producers and owners, National Sales managers, and National Account Manager. Works with Biological Research and Pharmaceutical Research and marketing personnel to develop and present product support materials including technical bulletins, product launches, and material for new products. Participates in company sponsored Phase 4 clinical research projects. Conducts meeting presentations to veterinary groups and associations, distributor sales forces, animal owner organizations, clinic seminars, key accounts, and key influencer groups to promote sales of Company products. Provides timely technical information as needed to support and improve product sales. Establishes and maintains close relationships with universities and key influencers to educate and promote FDAH products and services. Provides support to veterinary student liaisons at assigned veterinary colleges. Advises Company of new business opportunities or other projects. Accompany field sales personnel during customer contacts to assist in sales efforts by providing needed and key technical support. Conducts business activities in an honest ethical manner. Attends and participates in national meetings as required. Duties include but are not limited to providing technical support at FDAH booth, attend lectures that pertain to FDAH products and give lectures when requested. Maintains foundation level understanding of professional marketplace including veterinary practices, veterinary schools, research institutions, and government agencies within territory. Maintains up-to-date foundation level understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets, and notifies management of business conditions.Basic Qualifications: DVM degree 5 years of FDAH experience or 10 years of private practice or 10 years experience in combination of both. Demonstrated foundation level understanding of the following: competitor products, industry trends and technical developments, veterinary practices, and transfer of technical knowledge to internal and external customer. Valid driver’s license with driving record that meets or exceeds FDAH’s standards. Willing and able to travel overnight as necessitated by business conditions. Estimate 10-15% domestic and international travel. Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with a variety of individuals to include company personnel, veterinarians, veterinary staff and lay people.
