Sr. Financial Analyst

The Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing timely and accurate analysis to assist management in its goal of making fact-based decisions. Responsibilities also include acting as a partner with functional business area management in setting, measuring and attaining financial related goals and objectives. Incumbent is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and relevancy of financial information communicated from departments. This person will participate in the budgeting and forecasting process with managers of the departmental teams and will be a business partner in the financial support of various functions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: o Manage end-to-end product obsolescence process, from Materials Management through Sales and Warehousing o Provide financial support to the Supply Chain, Engineering, and Facilities Departments. Assist management with the development and execution of the Annual Operating Plan Develops and maintains accurate financial forecasts o Measure, analyze and reporting on total material spend for club and ball o Own product Warranty forecasting and analysis model o Work with Materials Management on forecasting and reporting of inventory at the SKU level o Analyzes company operations to provide information to management in the ongoing efforts to streamline and become more profitable. o Develops financial measures related to various internal projects. o Provides Return on Investment analysis for various internal projects. o Analyze the impacts of projects on historical and future performance. o Interface with department managers to review operating results, perform actual to budget variance analyses and forecast operating expenses for future periods. o Assists in finding ways to create new tools and ideas to help management better understand and plan our business. o Lead in developing and documenting Finance, Planning & Analysis group’s major processes. o Capital Funding/Reporting/Analysis and Cost Center Creation/Deletion/Management Mapping. o Develop monthly financial reports for senior review.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: o Intermediate understanding of accounting principles. o Able to extract pertinent data from ERP system to support above duties. o Must be a self starter. o Strong oral and written communication. o Strong analytical and problem solving skills. o Knowledge of SAP. o Experience with Supply Chain analysis, preferred. o Knowledge of Six Sigma principles, preferred.Education and/or Experience: o BS in Finance, Accounting or Business o Minimum 5 years accounting or finance experience, with heavy emphasis in financial modeling, analysis and reporting o Finance experience in a manufacturing/distribution related company o MBA, manufacturing and consumer products industry a plus o Experience in consumer products industry, experience in Mergers & Acquisition activitiesApply Now!
