We have an exciting opening for a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Global Clinical Sciences team in Marlborough, MA.General Summary:The Senior Finance Analyst, Global Clinical Sciences, has primary responsibility over cost center and functional finance decision support for this Corporate group. This position reports directly to the Finance Director, Global Clinical Sciences, and works closely with business managers, and financial R&D analysts from all divisions.Requires exceptional analytical capabilities, an ability to provide and effectively communicate meaningful business results and an attention to detail. This is a newly created position which requires working with a large number of customers with different management levels. Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate closing and reporting process on a monthly & quarterly basis Analyses of operating results for functional management, actual vs. plan Business partnership support to functional management Analysis and submission of functional budgets and forecasts Understanding and articulation of key business drivers for current and future periods. Other necessary duties as defined by DirectorMinimum Education & Experience:Education:Prefer undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business. MBA a plus.Work Experience: Minimum five years of progressive financial analysis, planning, and business support.Personal Skills/Attributes/Qualifications: Exceptional financial analysis background advanced modeling skills, strong business process skills and knowledge of business performance metrics. Prior experience in a large corporate, global, environment required. Very strong PC skills and SAP experience essential. Attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills.
