Requirements:• Sales analyst / Business analysto Sales & Marketing business knowledgeo Life Sciences/Pharma industry experience preferredo Data knowledge; data tools (e.g. querying SQL Server)o Understanding and use of business processes to model applications/systems• Siebel Application experience (Siebel 7.0 or later, preferably 7.8)o Focus on the Sales and Marketing functionality of Siebelo Analysis / Design Role• Reporting Analysis / Design experience o Ideally Cognos tools experience• Technical knowledge (non-Siebel)o Relational database management knowledgeo SQL Skills: writing queries and stored procedures (preferably SQL Server)o (a plus) Understanding of design concepts for data warehouses: ETL, data modeling for analyticso (a plus) Some development experience (coding, scripting)o (a plus) Technical documentation experience• Non-technical skillso Understanding of software projects, project life cycle, and controlled release management processes o Excellent analytical and problem solving skills o Excellent communication skills: technical, non-technical, and internationalo Ability to interact with all level of personnel as well as outside vendorso Ability to give presentationso Excellent time management skillsPosition Success Factors: Customer Focus; Business Acumen; Planning and Executing; Problem Identification and Resolution; Communication; Teamwork; and Results Ownership.Our generous benefits package includes the Alcon 401(k) Plan which matches employee contributions up to 5% of eligible pay at the rate of $1.00 for each dollar contributed, and the Alcon Retirement Plan (ARP), a qualified plan in which Alcon contributes 7% of eligible pay to the accounts of all eligible employees.
