Sr Manager, Finance

Job Description:Dimension & Scope:The Sr. Manager, Finance at Convergys acts as a liaison between internal/external clients for purposes of analysis, enhancement and implementation of improvement efforts. This will include the following: Support BU leadership through analysis and consulting efforts to help achieve or exceed desired targets. Coordinate standardization and implementation of processes across multiple business units. Provide in-depth analysis and trending of financial and metric performance. Participate in high level special projects. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Support improvement efforts across both internal/external organizations by actively participating on sub-committees.Continually work on development, enhancement, and implementation of organizational processes. Provide daily direction for the financial resource management team members.Provide detailed reports and trending analysis relative to both financial and metric performance.Escalate, investigate, and resolve complex issues impacting financial or metric activities.Coordinate efforts across organizations, business sites, and individual programs for internal/external initiatives.Coordinate and manager team members in order to meet required deliverables.Gather and assimilate information and data relative to financial performance.Responsible for selecting, training, developing, and managing performance of direct reports in area of specialty; and mentoring, coordinating, planning, and providing direction for work group(s) in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable legal requirements.Job Experience:Education & Professional Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in related field from a four-year college or university with six to eight years related experience; MBA Preferred.Candidate Profile:Six to eight years related experience in corporate finance or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to guide individuals toward goal achievement using negotiation, teamwork/collaboration, motivation and staff development skills including the ability to act as a role model within the organization.Decision-making skills for problem identification and solution recommendation and implementation.Ability to plan, organize and schedule work flow to meet rigid project deadlines.Proven ability to analyze and improve work processes and policies.Work well under pressure, professional demeanor, and strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail, etc. in a Windows environment.Environment, Physical & Other Requirements:NAMinimum Education Required: BachelorExpected Travel Time: None Contact Information: intConfig Email: Apply by Email
