Sr. Manager, User Experience

Gathering user experience related business requirements from a variety of internal and third-party sources and helping to translate those requirements into actionable design tasks.

Tracking and reporting of design projects.

Helping define, acquire, clarify and update business requirements as they relate to a Comcast user experience.

Drive the critical decisions necessary to manage unit programs/projects to an on-time completion.

Collecting and stewarding design ideas through an intellectual property evaluation and processing path.

Major Duties:
- Own the responsibility for managing the on-time, within budget, beyond expectation delivery of assigned user experience projects
- Participate (and lead) in the development of project objectives and requirements
- Develop project plans which detail activities, resource requirements and project schedules
- Help develop project budgets and manage project activities to that budget
- Manage internal and partner activities in support of projects
- Track project issues and manage issue resolution
- Coordinate the development of all project documentation and maintain same
- Conduct regular analysis of project progress and report on project status
- Contribute to ideation, development and execution of user experience projects
- Know everything there is to know about all of Comcast's video projects that have a significant customer facing component

Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3 years of product or project management experience in media, technology or telecommunications industry
- Strong product experience in consumer goods/services required
- Lead role in at least one product development and launch projects with significant visual interface component
- Key role in at least two product launch projects with significant customer support component
- Key role in at least two product development & launch projects with significant third party involvement
- Ability to exhibit leadership skills and indirect management within working teams
- Experience with analysis and reporting in a software project development environment
- Business degree or work equivalent; MBA a plus
- Previous experience with agile methodologies, SCRUM in particular, a plus
- Proficiency in standard MS Office software tools – Word, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Excel
- Must be self-motivated with strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills
- Travel, not to exceed 50% is required
