At Millennium, we're big on results, not formality.Position Summary:The Formulation Sciences Department at Millennium Pharmaceuticals is seeking a senior research associate to assist in the design and development of solid oral dosage forms for oncology therapeutic areas.Duties and Responsibilities:-Assist in the design and development of solid oral dosage forms aimed for Phase 1-3 clinical studies-Evaluate physical, chemical and mechanical properties of development molecules, powder blends, and solid oral dosages such as tablets and capsules-Develop robust manufacturing processes with lead scientist-Interface with Contract Manufacturing Organizations during technology transfer and clinical trial material manufacturing-Take leadership role in stability testing of prototype formulations-Assist in preparing, reviewing, and executing batch records-Assist in preparing regulatory documents-Present technical data in team, group, and departmental meetingsQualifications:- A BS (2-5 years) in chemical engineering, chemistry, pharmaceutics, or a related discipline, or an MS (0-2 years) or similar experience- Experience in development of tablet and capsule dosage forms is desirable but not required- Experience with unit operation, especially blending, granulating, and tabletting is desirable but not required- Experience with physical, chemical, and mechanical characterization of solids and powders is desirable but not required- Experience with basic statistics such as ANOVA and DOE- Strong oral and written communication skillsClick here to immediately applyWant to learn more about us?
