This position supports Animal Health Research Formulations, Process Development, Stability, Manufacturing, and Animal Regulatory Affairs. Write SOPs, methods of analysis, validation plans, and formal reports that describe the method, data, and results. Validate methods of analysis using accepted procedures.Apply creative ability and knowledge of analytical methods to solve analytical problems. The successful candidate will have a fundamental grounding in the separation sciences, with an emphasis on HPLC and GC. The ability to work independently, and as part of a team is essential. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:· PhD in chemistry + 1year, or B.S in chemistry +10 years experience or M.S. in chemistry +8 years laboratory experience. (Analytical Chemistry preferred) · Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required. The ability to pay attention to detail, including good documentation skills, is required.· Computer skills must include Microsoft Office Products Suite, e.g., Word, Excel. Computer database skills are desirable. · Training on analytical techniques, practical knowldege of operation of different instruments, such as HPLC, GC, IR and UV/Vis.
