Thank you for your interest!Description: A senior-level position as part of / leading a software development team designing and developing large-scale high-availability multi-tier transactional systems. Seeking qualified Java developer with a good background with database and broad knowledge of software engineering concepts, technologies, and practices. Will be owner of a product with large real-world customer base.Education and Typical Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required; M.S. in computer science is preferred. Requires at least 5 years of industry working experience designing and implementing database driven multi-tier applications along with a demonstrated ability to deliver end user products on time.Specific Skills: Minimum of 5 years working experience with Java programming. Strong knowledge in object oriented design and modular software architecture Strong experience in database design, programming, SQL, and performance tuning (Oracle preferred) Extensive experience with database driven multi-tier web application development Experience with JBoss or Weblogic. Experience with reporting, in particular Crystal Reports and Jasper Ability to drive product development in an iterative process from requirements through production Ability to interface successfully with clients and peers Creative problem solving skills Desired Skills: Experience with Linux environment.
