This engineer will be involved in customer sales calls, solution development, design, implementation, and assessment activities for a broad range of systems and storage solutions. Areas of focus for systems include blade server technologies, virtualization using VMware, and in the storage arena include SAN/NAS, backup/recovery, DR, archival, and storage assessments (ILM, consolidation, performance). We offer competitive pay based on individual performance and ongoing training in a professional, fast-paced, established, successful company with great benefits and excellent career opportunities.RequirementsBroad experience with system and storage solution solutions 8+ years of systems and storage experience, including some or all of the following technologies: Fibre channel SAN, NAS, iSCSI, backup software (e.g., Netbackup, CommVault, Networker); Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM) including disk, tape, backup, and archival solutions; Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, Linux, Windows; familiarity with networking technologies 2+ years of VMware experience, preferably with VI3 Familiarity with blade server technology Solid verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail Industry certifications a plus Experience in a Value Added Reseller (VAR) environment a plus
