Staff Accountant

J. Spargo & Associates, Inc. is an event management company located in Fairfax, VA.  We are seeking a Staff Accountant to assist our Accounting department.  The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, a team player, able to multi-task, able to set priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include: reconciling GL/bank accounts, maintaining accruals, preparing standard journal entries, and backing up AP/AR responsibilities.

Qualifications:

*BS in Accounting

*3+ years progressive Accounting experience

*Proficiency with Word and Excel

*Proficiency with accounting software; Business Works experience helpful

*Job costing preferred
