Qualifications The successful Staff Development Manager will possess: * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Proven experience managing and motivating in a customer service environment. * Experience in food service, an educational food management program, or experience in recruitment, staff development and training with an ability to learn food service. * Ability to handle multiple and shifting priorities in an effective manner. * Incredible sense of humor, patience, and finesse. * Experience working with a diverse demographic. * Exceptional Customer Service skills. * Bachelors degree preferred. ** For consideration, applicants must submit cover letter, resume, and salary history. ** MON CB Responsibilities The Staff Development Manager will lead effective strategies for recruitment, hiring, development and retention of staff for the Dining Services department. This position works with staff to mentor and monitor for both personal and professional skills development. Particular focus on the recruiting and training of high school students, but also capable of designing and implementing training program for entire departments. This position will have a working knowledge of dining room, cafe, kitchen and utility operations and functions.
