Stock Handler (Temporary/Seasonal)

  JOB SUMMARY:

  Provides delivery services to the homes of clients approved for the Summer Home Energy

  Assistance Program (HEAP).

 SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1.  Performs tasks involved in loading, unloading and storing air conditioners and fans upon

  delivery to the work site.

2.  Delivers air conditioners and fans to the homes of clients.

3.  Assists in the documentation and inventory of air conditioners and fans delivered.

  Non-Essential Functions

   1.  Performs other functions as assigned to contribute to the efficiency of the agency and

2. Assists in running errands necessary for the operation of the Summer HEAP Program (e.g.;

interoffice mail, supplies, etc.) when necessary.

 REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1.  High School or General Education Diploma (GED).

2.  Ability to lift at least 60 pounds.

3.  Physical ability and willingness to load and unload cargo.

4.  Good oral and interpersonal communication skills.

5.  Flexible to changing assignments in the HEAP office such as mail delivery.

 6. Successful results of pre and continued employment assessments may include fingerprinting, drug

testing, medical examinations and background check(s).
