We are looking for highly motivated MBA candidates to participate and learn in a fast paced strategy, corporate development, strategic alliance and incubation department where all projects and initiatives have impact.Participate within HP’s high-impact Corporate Strategy team where your superior analytic and communications skills will be challenged to deliver data-driven, insightful recommendations against HP's highest priority opportunities. The Internship will test your strategy, communication, and analytical skills to the fullest. Your skills and experiences in management consulting, prior corporate strategy, or investment banking will be an enormous plus to make the summer all the more beneficial to your development. You will participate to help HP's senior executives make sound and timely decisions. On a daily basis you will test business model hypotheses with data driven rigor, and make recommendations based on your analytical insight.You will be encouraged to participate in live initiatives, projects and initiatives versus contrived summer projects. RESPONSIBILITIES:The Summer Intern, Strategy & Corporate Development will have the opportunity to participate in Strategy, M&A, Strategic Alliance, and Corporate Venture teams - based background, experience, and personal objectives. The Summer Intern will: Gain exposure to HP, from a Corporate perspective, and learn how the company operates in the fast paced technology market Participate in either corporate-led and line-led project teams Own and develop work streams and/or aspects of live projects, initiatives, and deals - depending on participation Deliver data-driven insights to support actionable strategic direction, corporate prioritization Communicate findings and recommendations to HP Executives and professionals Work in a team environment within the Strategy and Corporate Development team as close as can be permitted to gain a true flavor of the work and experience the organization has to offer Participate in Pan-HP Summer intern events and experiences Experience and participate in coaching and advising sessions during the summer to learn new skills or hone old ones to a finer edgeYour profile: QUALIFICATIONS: MBA candidate with focus on Strategy, Finance, or Entrepreneurship Desired - Pre-MBA experience at a leading strategy consulting firm or the strategy and corporate development function within a Fortune 500 company. Superior analytical skills and strong financial modeling capabilities a must.
