Supplier QA Engineer

 



• Conduct supplier surveys and monitor supplier performance regarding quality and delivery

• Assess potential new suppliers for inclusion into Approved Supplier List

• Audit and monitor suppliers’ quality systems to ensure compliance with requirements

• Verify suppliers’ compliance to statement of work and specification requirements

• Work with Design, Purchasing and Production Engineering to define and improve  supplier parts and manufacturing processes

• Investigate, assist with implementation, and verify effectiveness of corrective action for purchased parts, process and hardware problems

• Some travel will be required

 



• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Quality Assurance required

• Must have experience auditing and evaluating suppliers

• Must have knowledge of quality systems ISO9001/AS9100 and auditing

• Prior experience in an electronics assembly environment preferred

• Must be detail oriented and have excellent verbal, written, organizational, analytical and PC skills
