GEOMARKET SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

 

The leading global oilfield services company has immediate, career opportunity for a GeoMarket Supply Chain Manager to join their team and improve their GeoMarket Supply Chain Organization.  They are looking for an independent thinker with a driven personality, and the ability to work under pressure in an exciting, fast-paced and changing environment. 

 

Responsibilities:Responsible for the GeoMarket Supply Chain strategy, staffing, recruitment and training of Supply Chain personnel, and act as primary interface with Field Customers and other key stakeholdersSet strategic vision and goals and ensure execution of all common Supply Chain strategies including Logistics, Warehousing, Inventory management, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement.  Responsible for staffing in their GeoMarket department, Supervise 25 plus supply chain professionals inclusive of trainingDevelop and meet goals for materials management, cost reduction, on-time delivery from the supplier base, reduction/balance of inventory positions, and resource utilization.Identify key Cost Savings opportunities and prepares action plans in conjunction with area plan.Work with Global Commodity Manager to develop GeoMarket commodity strategies in conjunction with global strategies.  Cost Management – Ensure effective management of costs relevant to procurement activities via: Rate Benchmarks, Process Flow Reviews and Rate Cost Negotiations. Develop RFPs, obtain and analyze quotations, negotiate total cost elements for assigned GeoMarket.Execute subcontract management plans and risk mitigation plans when appropriate, providing strong support and guidance to the technical staff and applying knowledge and leadership to reach innovative business solutions.Measure and implement best practices for procurement and stores operations while maintaining system information to ensure accurate and complete information.Perform trend analysis and make recommendations regarding procurement process improvements.

 

Requirements:

·10 plus years in Supply Chain Management functions (leadership and management role)Ability to demonstrate principled leadership and managementExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written), strong attention to detail, proficient with computers to include MS Excel, MS Access and other MS Office programs. Strong organization and problem solving skills as well as the ability to work with adapt to changing environmentStrategic thinker with strong financial metric skills Strong initiative and proven project management skills.MBA, M.Sc – Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering and/or demonstrated competencies and commensurate experience.
