For more information about PolyOne visit www.polyone.com GENERAL SUMMARY:The Integrated Supply Chain Planner position supports the raw material procurement process for all the PolyOne business units. The role provides a single point of contact between all internal groups (i.e. BU manufacturing sites, warehouses, Planning, Sourcing, Technology, RMRC) and external suppliers for Integrated Supply related activities. This position manages both tactical and strategic raw material buying and inventory decisions on a daily basis. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-Act as focal point for all IS raw material purchasing activities working with the various groups-Generate necessary data to support IS operations and drive implementation/action. -Track and drive attainment of IS KPI (Key Performance Indicators). -Generate data/analyze to support buying and inventory management activities such as material consumption data, safety stock requirements etc.-Manage daily tactical duties of procurement, communicate late orders, develop solutions to remedy supply issues, drive/orchestrate the final solution. -Manage warehousing issues related to suppliers or inventory investment-Facilitate periodic UNICCO meetings to discuss issues-Bill of Material changes which related to stock on hand – develop a cut over/communication plan-Incorporation of new items into IS material portfolio-Dangerous goods approval-Consignment pre-buy opportunities-Supplier audits of IS warehouse-Financial analysis, procurement activities, communications to all parties involved & ultimately implementation. -Establish, communicate, and maintain as required all IS warehouse management policies-Manage/coordinate unique material or material form requirements-Manage/coordinate new IS Customer Projects/Opportunities and New Business Unit requests-Facilitate Vendor Notification Returns (VNR’s) as necessary. -Regularly monitor and address Non-Working, Slow-Moving (NWSM) inventory. -Evaluate/incorporate/generate ideas for new SAP technology to improve overall IS operations -Manage B2B activities as it relates to IS maintaining B2B table, coordinate with Sourcing on contract price updates, test B2B vendor updates/additions in SAP, etc. Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:-Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting, Business, Operation Planning, Engineering, or related degree. -Technical knowledge of Supply Chain, Purchasing, Materials, Manufacturing, and/or related functions.-Requires strong computer and analytical skills combined with the ability to manage large amounts of quantitative data. -Proficient in the use Microsoft Office software and have working knowledge of relational databases and SAP applications, specifically the Materials Management and Production Planning modules.-Must have the ability to actively listen to customer and plant issues, efficiently troubleshoot problems and implement solutions in a timely and customer focused manner.-Demonstrated analytical, verbal, written communication skills.Required Length & Type of Experience:-Three years of related manufacturing, scheduling and/or negotiation experience.-Experience must include prior participation working with business teams.POLYONE CORE COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:-Principled - Acts in the best interests of the company-Achieving Results with a Sense of Urgency -Adaptability - Reacts positively to change -Interpersonal Skills - Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing-Problem Solving Skills - Effectively identifies problems by framing issues-Continuous Improvement & Process Focus To submit your Resume and Salary history you must apply to http://careers.polyone.comNo phone calls please.PolyOne Corporation is an EEO employer.
