This individual works at technical levels of application programming activities with established experience in application development methodology & system development lifecycle methodology.Programming:Design, development, testing, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of software applications. Must be able to program / debug complex programs without assistance. Design, write, analyze, test, and rewrite programs. Work on all phases of application development lifecycle activities that include: Analysis, Design, Code, Test, and Implementation. Development of multi-user applications to provide an interface for data related processes and reports. Executes all phases of software application projects, including resolving issues and helping to ensure successful deployment. Proficient in relational database technology. Design and implement database tables, stored procedures, triggers and cursors as needed. Maintains database protocol & standards. Database and report writing skills; advanced spreadsheet skills. Experience with software change control processes and tools for proper version control. Analysis / Communication:Recommends design approaches and assist in developing customized solutions to problems identified by business area managers.Assists Senior Programmers in application technology and architecture planning. Ability to analyze information and recommend plan of action to project team members and/or stakeholders. Documentation:Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can easily understand the program logic. To prepare documents describing installation and operating procedures for deliverables.Production Support:Troubleshoots applications and quickly resolve production issues. Assists end-users with system problems. Identifies issues and inconsistencies with data quality and creates processes to overcome system deficiencies.Qualifications:Required:College degree in Computer Science/Information Technology. Minimum of 3 years or more experience in developing and/or maintaining enterprise-level software solutions.
