Thank you for your interest!General Summary:Responsible for designing, programming and testing inbound /outbound data interfaces to MIDAS+ products.Essential Job Functions:? Integrate Hospital systems such as Laboratory, Surgery, Blood Bank, Pharmacy, Electronic Medical Record data into the MIDAS+ suite of products / modules? Design interface methods to collect and process data using a variety of technologies (HL7/XML/TCPIP/Web Services)? Investigate inbound and outbound interface potentials to harvest or plant data into or out of the MIDAS+ system (Web services / ODBC etc).? Work with other vendors to create synergies between products that collect, store and utilize patient data.? Assist Technical Services department in supporting interfacing methods. ? Provide high-level support to Customer Support when necessary.? Be available to accept Interface Analyst projects to include Interface conversions and Dictionary builds.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:? Knowledge of programming / coding. Desired experiences:? Cache experience? Visual Basic? C++? Web Services? Knowledge of network protocols as they pertain to data transfer (XML /TCP/IP, ODBC desired).? Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with customers, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.? Strong analytical ability.?
