TECHNICAL PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

DARTMOUTH JOURNAL SERVICESTECHNICAL PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

This position will coordinate technical production concerns between Sales, Technology and Production staffs for new customers, publications, and products transitioning into the live production environment. The Technical Production Coordinator serves as a first-level technical resource and trainer for production staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor of Science degree in Technology or related field is preferred.

* Demonstrated experience and success in project management and customer service.

* Demonstrated technical support and training skills.

* Strong working knowledge of imaging, composition and online publishing workflows (including SGML and XML) as well as related software and tools.

* Ability to operate professionally and productively in a fast-paced environment.

* Periodic travel and variable work hours sometimes required.
