Job Description:TSYS Prepaid is looking for a motivated and creative individual to develop and support it’s JEE financial services platform for the Prepaid Card Market. The ideal candidate will combine some experience in developing JEE solutions with understanding of common open source frameworks (such as JBoss and Apache stack), and a understanding of good programming practices applicable to high volume, transaction processing environments. Responsibilities Work with team leads to understand, develop java classes and create JUnit test classes and document product features. Exhibit an understanding of both Java and JEE including knowledge of EJB, JSP, JDBC, Web Services (SOAP) and other commonly used java based technologies. Knowledge of common application frameworks JUnit is required. Interpret business requirements documents and translate into technical solutions. Must be able to understand common design idioms used to solve to business. Candidates must be motivated and have the ability to self start. Exhibit good knowledge of with development tools such as Eclipse, JBoss. Candidate must be able to configure a standard JEE application container and IDE, and must be able to quickly familiarize themselves with the application environment. Display a good understanding of relational database (Oracle or DB2) technologies including SQL, JDBC and normalization. Thoroughly develop; review and test code to ensure code is meeting the functional requirement. Review and give feedback of business specifications and test scripts. Interact with business and testing teams to ensure that the product developed meets defined requirements. Ensure that the product is thoroughly tested by developing unit tests and participating in the creation of test scripts to be used by the QA test team. Candidate must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication. In addition, candidates must be able to provide documentation of their development work that can be used by other members of the team.
