Tax Accountant

An International Fortune 500 leader located in the Chicagoland area seeks a talented Tax Accountant to join their team. The role is a blend of tax compliance, accounting for taxes, research and planning, audits and special projects.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of quarterly FAS 109 provision, annual reports, sales & use tax returns and federal and state income tax returns



Prepare federal and state tax compliance



Handle special projects including transfer pricing, global structuring, due diligence on acquisitions, FIN 48, etc.



Manage audits, resolve tax notices, assessments and information requests



Requirements:



Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting



Minimum of 3 years Federal Tax experience; ideally Public /Private mix



Masters degree in tax or CPA highly preferred



Proficient in RIA or CORPTAX software



Strong research and communication skills, both written and verbal



Must have worked in large corporate heavy multi-state environments
