Job Description:Same great company, same great people ... Dataline Consulting Services now known as PLANIT Technology Group! PLANIT currently has a need for a Team Center Engineering Admin. This will be a contract position. Responsibilities: Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates engineering systems and user needs. The technical analyst formulates systems to support overall engineering strategy. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Typically reports to a Manager. Essential Functions: * Ability to accurately capture and document engineering systems requirements from a diverse user group * CATIA, ProE, and VisView application support * Involves user contact and other research to discover details and requirements for existing or new systems * Documentation of application, reports and workflow changes * Planning and control of Acceptance Testing and Unit Testing * Development and execution of System Acceptance Test Cases and when necessary. Accountabilities: * Accepts personal responsibility for client satisfaction * Establishes and manages engagement objectives, expectations, and quality plan * Works independently and/or within team to accomplish job objectives. * Dynamic individual capable of working within a multi-site team environment. * Establishes and follows priorities * Participates in projects with other IT departments and/or external vendors * Establishes and maintains effective working relationships * Communicates effectively both written and oral. * Strong presentation and communication skills * Evaluate training gaps and develop necessary training material * Provides input into future software functionality, implementation methodology and customization standards * Applies business implications to technological solutions * Understands client organization dynamics Contacts: * Works Under Immediate supervision * Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Position Requirements: * Engineering or Systems Degree and at least 3 years CAD/PDM experience or 7 years CAD/PDM Administration experience essential * Team center workflow experience * Bulk CAD data translation experience * Team center and Unigraphics application support * Team center Multi-site experience * Unigraphics application experience desirable For consideration, please apply today!
