The Team Supervisor is a near full-time position working 30 hours per week managing wireless retail sales representatives in the New York/New Jersey market.  Successful candidate must be able to work weekends and modify schedule for unforeseen circumstances and also have reliable transportation with automobile insurance for which an excellent mileage allowance will be paid.  In this position you have the ability to earn a guaranteed minimum base salary of $46,000 per annum plus a bonus opportunity.  In addition to providing front line management for this project, the individual will play a crucial role in its success and is ultimately responsible for the client’s total satisfaction.  Acting as the liaison between the client, the client’s retailers and the sales representatives, the Team Supervisor ensures that information is properly disseminated and the client’s promotions, procedures and administration is properly understood and executed at point of sale.  The Team Supervisor is also responsible for preparing weekly reports which will provide the client with detailed information including sales results, collateral, issues, and competitive information.   

 

Major Responsibilities:

 

· Select, train, and promote wireless retail sales representatives as appropriate and with guidelines

 

· Direct and maintain field performance for the sales team, meeting all client objectives

 

· Ensure sales targets are achieved on a consistent basis and employees work at least 95% of scheduled hours at all times

 

· Knowledge of the Wireless Telecommunications industry

 

· Effectively supervise a field sales force to meet or exceed contractual obligations

 

· Coordinate communications between client and USM staff and field personnel

 

· Manage through actual face to face meetings, store visits/call evaluations and motivate field staff to ensure contractual compliance for the sales team.

 

· Monitor sales on a regular basis

 

· Work with USM Corporate to plan, coordinate and chair team meetings, attend regular client meetings, and manage sales teams’ attendance at promotional launches and trade events

 

· Participate in training seminars for Sales Team

 

· Coordinate personnel issues including discipline, counseling, appraising and recognition.

 

· Establish and implement service standards to guarantee increases in sales of clients’ products and services

 

· Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with various levels

 

· Ability to coach and develop to improve skills

 

· Ability to problem solve issues relevant to increasing sales and client customer services

 

· Ability to work in and foster a team environment

 

· Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing

 

· PC literate
