Technical Accountant

Primarily responsible for the interpretation of technical pronouncements and guidance as promulgated by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Key contact for guidance in GAAP and all technical pronouncements. Manages communication to all Dresser business segments. Drafts company position papers and distributese throughout the organization.

Skills

- Strong technical knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAA)

- Srong accounting analytical skills

- Good research skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills



Experience Required

- 3 to 5 years in public accounting with 5 to 8 years total work experience in relevant accounting roles

- Multi-national

- Big 4 public accounting



Preferred Experience

- SEC or external reporting

- Manufacturing or energy industry environment



Must be a Certified Public Accountant
