Technical Analyst
Job Description:The Tech Analyst will provide 1st level support and second level triage on various IT issues. Project support to the bank's business applications, job scheduling, file transfers, and data loads. This includes: code promotion, incident management (problem determination and recovery), user management, security access and controls, work order management, event console management, job scheduling and execution, file and database table management, transfer/load/extract data management, workload management, media management, and application wellness checks, performance management, capacity management, application and business data recovery, business continuity (BCP), and disaster recovery (DR).Develop and document process flow detailing functions and accountabilities. Identification of areas where efficiencies can be gained using proactive approach through collection and analysis of metrics. Automation of various operational functions. Job Experience:1-5 years experience utilizing scheduler software such as TWS, Maestro, Platinum, Autosys, or CA7 and file transfer software such as Connect:Direct, Axway, RJE, SFTP or FTP. 1-5 years experience in developing detailed process workflow with automation orientation. 1-5 years experience in developing proactive processes designed to alert/eliminate problems before they escalate to an issue. 1-5 years experience using UNIX scripting commands such as ksh and perl.1-5 years hands on Unix OS experience (AIX, Solaris)**Candidate must be able to speak and communicate CLEARLY!**Strong knowledge of Unix operating systems and their use. Mainframe experience is a plus---not a requirement. The candidate must be able to clearly communicate in English. Knowledge of trouble ticketing systems and their use.
