Technical Analyst Intern

Are you a Law student with a background in technology?

Quantum Intellectual Property Services is seeking highly motivated Interns for a summer opportunity with an invention investment company based in Bellevue, WA.

For the right person this could also lead into a part time year round internship.

Qualifications needed:2L that has taken or is currently qualified to take the USPTO Patent BarEngineering/technical degree or equivalent experience (CS/EE preferred but not required).Focus on IP, Technology, Software or Wireless a plusExcellent communication skills both written and verbal.Strong organizational and analytical skills.Ability to multi-task in dynamic environment and be self-directed.Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Ability to prioritize a high volume and broad scope of tasks.Availability to work flexible hours.Interest in patents and patent law.Inquisitive with a passion for technology is a plus.

 

Activities include:Researching patents for technical content, coverage, and market value.Portfolio analysis.Judging relevance of technology to current industry use.Judging ease of discovery and ways to work around.Researching and gathering evidence of use.Preparing and delivering reports on findings.Opportunities to work with and network with prosecutors, litigators, and industry experts.
