Advancements and growth have led to an exciting opportunity on our Corporate Application Development team for a Project Manager.  Project Managers are responsible for project timelines, completeness of requirements and estimates, quality of deliverables, project documentation including test plan development, detailed project tracking, and project communications.

 

Projects managed will include:Customizations to PeopleSoft functionalityPeopleSoft upgradesCustom developed applications that integrate with PeopleSoft delivered functionalityRoll-out of PeopleSoft delivered functionality

 

Specific project manager responsibilities will include:Work with functional business owners to document project requirementsWork with developers and business owners to develop accurate estimates and timelines. Work with project team to develop thorough project plans and test plans Oversee and track  design, testing, and launch of new and changed functionality Communicate project status and details to all members of project team and managementLead project meetingsEscalate project issues as needed Manage project budget and timeline

 

Required Skills and Abilities:Excellent communication skillsAbility to manage or work on multiple prioritiesExcellent problem solving skillsKnowledge of and experience with standard project management processes and techniquesKnowledge of software life cycle processesExcel, MS Project, and PeopleSoft knowledge and expertise

Successful candidates will have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.  Additionally, qualified candidates will have 3+ years of PeopleSoft experience and 2+ years of business and technical project management experience, PMP certification a plus.  Qualified candidates will also have proven leadership skills, technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills.
