More upon request. POSITION: Resource Development Manager   POSITION OBJECTIVES: This position requires an employee to perform all functions necessary to successfully develop and maintain a productive consultant and client customer base. EFFECTIVE DATE:  December 1, 2007 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  (those functions actually required to perform the position, the removal of which would fundamentally change the job) 1. Sourcing Candidates Developing strategies to find qualified candidates Utilizing and understanding the necessary tools to find the qualified candidates 2. Qualifying Candidates Assessing the candidate’s technical skills and competency to perform the tasks of the job requisition Assessing the candidate’s ability to fit the environment of the job requisition Assessing the candidate’s current opportunities with Modis as well as other opportunities 3. Negotiating Pay Rates Securing a mutually beneficial rate of pay for the consultant and Modis Securing a profitable rate of pay in order for Modis to meet or exceed their profit projections Gaining a commitment from the candidates to take a particular position detailed in the job requisition for Modis 4. Consultant Signup Providing the candidate with all the necessary paperwork to meet Modis’ high standards of obligations relating to Modis’ business practices Obtaining signed and completed paperwork Extending the candidate for each extension request from the client manager Client Manager Facilitation 5. Client Manager Facilitation Setting up the candidate to interview with the client manager Prepping the candidate with complete information of the requisition order and the Client Company’s culture Closing the candidate after the interview to take the position with Client Company 6. Consultant Relationship Building Developing long-term relationships with consultants while out on contract with the client manager Visiting the consultants while on contract with the client manager Handling any questions or concerns relating to the assignment with the client manager 7. Database Maintenance Adding and maintaining the candidate records relating to conversations, interviews, submittals and placements Maintaining records in the database regarding job order activities  This list of "Essential Functions" is not intended to be limiting.  The Company reserves the right to revise this job description as needed to comply with actual job requirements. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:  (although not fundamental to the job, these functions are required to be performed periodically or infrequently or may be reassigned) 1.  Assists consultants in career counseling and resume revisions.2.  Provides potential leads to sales personnel.3.  May supervise associates on-site at volume clients.4.  Completes Workers Compensation and unemployment reports.5.  Participates in Trade Show/Job Fairs6.  Provides back up to Operations Coordinator.7.  Delivers Associates’ checks.8.  May place recruiting ads9.  Markets new business in new offices.10.  Produces Branch production and activity reports.11.  Gives weekly planner to Managing Director for scheduling additional sales calls by inside staff. PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:  (qualitative or quantitative job standards imposed on all employees in this position, for example, typing 70 w.p.m.) QUALIFICATIONS: (Please review) 1.  Formal Education: College Degree. 2.  Skills:(a)  Proven track record in working with people in calm/efficient manner.(b)  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.(c)  Ability to solve problems.(d)  Professional business experience including personnel hiring responsibilities.3.  Experience: (a) 2 years experience in an I.T., sales or business environment.4.  Knowledge:  (a) Must have prior customer service/sales experience.5.  Other: (a) Good customer service skills.(b) Ability to handle multiple tasks.(c) Ability to meet deadlines.(d) Computer literacy.(e) 1 year of employment industry or HR experience helpful. WORKING ENVIRONMENT:  (describe whether exposed to chemicals, indoor or outdoor conditions, confined spaces, heights or other specific work area characteristics) 1.  Office environment MACHINES/EQUIPMENT/TOOLS USED: Computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, printer, car REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports to Recruiting Director/Managing Director    Please Send Resumes to dan.cates@modisit.com   Company: Modis, Inc.
