Technical Security Officer

We are seeking an individual to provide the following duties: Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) policy and governance documentation creation and review, certification and accreditation (C&A) policy and planning creation and review, and security awareness and information assurance training. Excellent verbal and written communication skills must be used for documentation, reports, and training. Candidate must possess 3-5 years experience with PKI policy and governance, as well as 3-5 years experience with C&A. PKI policy and governance documentation (Certificate Policy, Certification Practice Statement, etc.) C&A policy and planning documentation (Security Plan, IT Contingency Plan, Risk Assessment, etc.) PKI policy and governance with the Federal Bridge Certification Authority (FBCA) PKI architecture and high-level PKI engineering Security engineering (network security, physical security, intrusion detection, etc.) Knowledge of and experience with TCP/IP network security Other related duties as assigned Ability to pass the required security clearance Must possess a Bachelors Degree and have experience with government security standards, laws, and regulations (e.g. NIST 800 series, FBCA, OMB, etc.) pertaining to information security, system accreditation, and network security polices and procedures. Must possess high-level PKI architecture, policy, and governance experience. Must be able to coordinate the work of department staff, lead a security review team, and provide training and guidance as required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
