Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Technician II, Laboratory - 200073 - Maple Grove, MN - 0100 Job Description:Microbiology Laboratory Technician IIJob Purpose:Performs a variety of chemical, biological, or microbiological analyses in support of the company’s quality program. Primarily responsible to perform routine testing such as LAL, product bioburden, environmental monitoring and other tests as assigned and to accurately document test results.Key Responsibilities: Performs routine tests in accordance with established procedures as assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor or designee and documents the results on standard forms. When routine tests are performed in a non-standard way, the technician must follow the special instructions and document the deviation with prior approval of laboratory management. Nonstandard tests and special projects such as equipment qualifications, trend charting, test development or test improvement may be assigned at the discretion of the Lab Supervisor. Other duties as assigned, such as: approving test reports, logging in samples, lab cleaning/organizing, media preparation and dishwashing.
