Job Description:Basic Function: Responsible for providing support to Data Center processing operations, Network Control Center operations, and Help Desk operations through the use of specialized tools such as scheduling, automation, and monitoring products/processes.  Responsible for providing support to Central Technology and client areas; testing and implementation through the certification and production migration processes for both in-house and vendor purchased, batch and on-line, applications and support software.  Acts as a leader within the Operations Support Group, providing direction to fellow team members.  Represents Operations Support by acting as a partner to Systems Technology, Data Center Operations, Help Desk, Central Technology, and client areas in all project initiatives.  Responsibilities: Base understanding of the server environment and the various distributed components. Works with Systems Technology to coordinate the request, definition, and installation of the CA7 Agent. Works with the Central Technology, NCI and Operating Tools groups to identify, implement and validate necessary system and network monitoring. Interact with the Performance Test team in the setup and execution of load testing of distributive processes. Develop an understanding of current in-house products in order to aid in monitoring of system performance and keep abreast of new products. Analyze problems thoroughly, implementing the best possible solution, and make recommendations to enhance current operating procedures. Provide leadership in the development and maintenance of operational procedures for Computer Operations. Participate in proposals for process improvements. Ability to work effectively under pressure and react timely to problem situations, while maintaining professionalism at all times. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or have at least 5+ years experience in a related technical environement. Five (5) to seven (7) years data processing experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills  Strong general computer skills, with exposure to PC and mainframe applications. Proven project management/project lead experience. Ideal Qualifications: Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and proven track record.
