We are currently seeking a temporary Warehouse Packing and Production Supervisor to work from 5/15/08 until approximately 8//8/08.

The Warehouse Packing and Production Supervisor is responsible for working with the warehouse management staff to supervise and manage a subcontracted staff off approximately 10 people.  The primary task for the subcontracted staff is to maintain a daily quota of packing care packages. 

 

Dimensions

 

· Supervise a sub contracted staff of approximately 10 people in an assembly line work environment.

· Obtain daily packing quotas.

· Serve as the communication liaison between the warehouse management and the team leader of the subcontracted staff.

· Supervise the setting up, stocking and breaking down of the assembly line.

· Manage and control inventory related to the care package packing.

· Quality control inspections at the end of shifts.

 



 



The position’s primary function is to work with a subcontracted group of assembly line workers to insure that daily production quotas are obtained.  This entails making sure that the assembly line is stocked at all times, people are working efficiently, inventory is adequate and break times are adhered to. 

 

The Warehouse Packing and Production Supervisor must be organized, able to communicate effectively, and comfortable serving in a supervisory capacity.  The Warehouse Packing and Production Supervisor must be willing and able to work with other staff and on the assembly line. Must be able to lift 40 pounds.  Must be able to work overtime as needed, may include Saturdays.  Supervisory experience is preferred.  Fork lift operator certification and/or electric jack certification is preferred.
