Territory Account Manager
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for developing relationships and penetrating sales in existing and gifted Ship-to locations of Strategic Accounts, Large Accounts and Mid-Market Accounts within a geographic territory. The TAM is also responsible for new customers within their geographic territory. The TAM serves as the primary contact for buyers and works together as needed with Sales Manager, Product Specialist, Customer Service and other company resources to manage the day-to-day relationship. Key Responsibilities: ?Manages day-to-day relationship with customer by developing a high value-add relationship with key contact/buyer ?Researches, contacts, qualifies, prepares and presents proposals to acquire new accounts ?Daily contact with CE potential customers, market sales management and sales representatives ?Leverage solution-based sales opportunities with predictable and tangible products. ?Identifies short-term and long-term sales retention and penetration opportunities ?Coordinates account servicing and fulfillment with support from Customer Service Competencies: ?Excellent customer service skills ?Self-starter, results oriented ?Strong verbal and written communication skills ?Strong presentation skills ?Strong time management and organizational skills ?Strong financial acumen ?Computer literacy, including competency related to MS-Windows-based applications ?Proficient in CE solutions: E-Way, ISIS, SalesForce.com ?Detail oriented with strong administrative follow-up and follow-through ?Strong interpersonal skills ?Demonstrated analytical, negotiating, and problem-solving skills ?Thorough knowledge of company products and services Education and/or Experience: Bachelor?s degree preferred and a minimum of four (4) years direct selling experience required; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Office product industry experience helpful, distribution selling environment a must. Candidate should be competitive and self-motivated with strong work ethic. Candidate must be confident and trustworthy with a genuine concern to balance both the company and the customer needs, good organizational skills, strong creative selling and communication capabilities, experience setting targets, designing growth plans and hitting new business revenue objectives, and the ability to win customers in a compressed buying cycle.
