Test Environment Lead- Direct Hire Opportunity!

Job Description:Role:Support assigned corporate initiatives project teams Test environment needs. Coordinates, schedules, and monitors project activities related to test environments. Works with the project teams to complete Test Environment Application Form which identifies/defines file structure, machine language, test data, and communication tools. Works with the project teams to complete Test Environment Strategy which determines feasibility of implementing new test environments or making modifications to existing test environments or provides alternative designs/solutions in order to maximize client problem resolution and minimize project costs. Coordinates the implementation of effective and efficient solutions in a timely manner. Provides expertise in knowing all platforms, environments, tools, and data for the corporate test environments; identifies and coordinates cross functional problem resolution activities; identifies and coordinates intra/inter-project test environment dependencies; coordinates schedules and timelines between the different project phases; provide support and coordination for technical testing plan. Determines technical feasibility of implementing applications or modifications to existing systems and provides alternative designs/solutions in order to maximize customer problem resolution and minimize project costs. Gains consensus to implement most reasonable solutions. Works as a liaison between the development, test and infrastructure teams. Must be able to develop, teach and motivate coworkers. Coordinates a team of IT professionals and provides technical guidance to less experienced staff. Develops and maintains technical and business knowledge through training, reading and research. Proactively analyzes and reviews emerging technology, changes in health insurance/healthcare industry and business functions of our clients to determine if changes are need to current strategies, goals and objectives. Works with Systems and Application Architecture to anticipate and plan future test environment configuration changes; coordinate technical and architectural support requirements; and coordinates the different releases, patches and emergency fixes of existing software and custom development into the test environments. Estimates the environment technical costs of projects for clients and project managers. Project management regarding all technical aspects of achieving a department or corporate goal, such as modifying/creating and implementing test environment systems or subsystems, monitoring established deliverables or training end users on the operational procedures of the system. Job Experience:Required: This position requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of related IT experience. Project management skills must have been demonstrated. Experience in system architecture design must have been demonstrated. This position is also subject to being on call for emergency situations requiring immediate resolution. Travel between all locations may be required.
