Job Description:We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to be part of the software product development group. The ideal candidate will have current experience doing performance testing using a tool such as SilkPerformer and have strong development background using C++, Java or C#. The candidate should have experience in preparing software test plans, testing software products and documenting test procedures. Plus, have a background in science. Essential Functions: . Apply software testing methodologies to characterize, measure, and report upon for products under development, . Design, implement, execute, and maintain performance test suites for Client's products; . Participate in the direction of other staff in testing from design and planning to execution and reporting; . Seek to continuously improve processes and procedures for developing quality products; . Collaborate with a multidisciplinary skilled team to meet aggressive goals; . Apply and expand technical knowledge of tools and languages like SilkTest, SilkPerformer, Java, C++, and C#. . Oracle DBMS skills in SQL and PLSQL, skills in Database tuning is highly desirable. Requirements: . Ability to program in Java, C++, or C# . Expert experience with SilkPerformer and SilkTest . Technical knowledge of software testing methodologies and testing processes . Experience trouble shooting and problem solving . Familiarity with database management systems such as Oracle . Strong communication and organizational skills. . Experience advancing projects and working within a multidisciplinary technical team. . Demonstrable ability to coordinate multiple tasks, to effectively communicate technical information to team members, adapt and learn quickly, and to work independently. . Prior experience in chemistry or science is a plus. B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or Material Science is a plus. . B.S.
