Top-25 law firm, based in DC, is looking for a Business Relationship Analyst.  This person will work in the Litigation Support Division.  He or she will focus on the business needs of his or her assigned division and will work with each department to help translate those needs into definable projects.  This person will also work with their department to identify technology resources that would improve the business process of their department.  He or she will also ensure that both the IT Division and the assigned department are in line with all of the steps necessary to meet and achieve all business goals for the firm.

 

Responsibilities:Identify opportunities to use new and existing technology to impact business unit strategy and performance.  Work with business units to manage and prioritize product and service portfolios.Advocate for technology needs of the business units.Identify new product and service offering, which may create unique, innovative and high-value customer solutions. 



Qualifications:BS Degree in CS, Management or Law.Ability to understand the department’s needs and translate those needs into IT specific requirements.Familiarity with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).5 - 10 years of relevant technical and business work experience.
