What we need is a person who is passionate about visualizing and creating interactive prototypes to convey new features, interactions, and interface designs for product development, proof of concept, and usability testing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Identify user needs and business requirementsCreate UI specifications (user flows, UI elements, page layouts, and user interactions)Work closely with User Experience Research team to develop user research and usability testsCreate interactive prototypes adhering to an rapid, iterative and collaborative processCreate and communicate design deliverables such as specifications, process flows, wireframes, and mock-upsSkills and Abilities Needed: BA/BS in Visual Communications, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science or related experienceExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong collaborative experience within a cross-functional environment, work closely with Product Management and EngineeringStrong design skills including screen layouts, information design, and typographySolid grasp of web technologies such as Flash, DHTML, JavaScript, AjaxStrong knowledge of Photoshop, Visio, XHTML and CSSStrong knowledge of current best practices and design patternsStrong skills and desire to design clean user interfaces and to deliver a world-class user experience3-5 years experience as a UI designer within a product development lifecycle of web applications About Aquent Aquent is the world's largest marketing staffing firm.
