Job Experience:Minimum of 8-10 years experience in UNIX system programming and administration, including hardware and software performance monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting, application of system software; proven ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems. Applicant should be a self-starter, driven, individual who can manage own priorities, workflow, and project matters with minimal direct supervision; excellent customer service skills; excellent written and verbal communications; to interact effectively with peers, senior management, vendors, consultants and customers, both internal and external. Must be able to contribute technical solutions to development application problems when required. In-depth knowledge of the Sun Solaris Operating System, VMware, Java, working TCP/IP knowledge, network monitoring, system diagnostic knowledge, advanced system administration experience. Must also be able to travel nationally for extended periods (weeks) as projects require. Requires a college degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience in business, government or educational environment.Minimum Education Required: BachelorYears of Experience Required: More than 5 yearsExpected Travel Time: About 25%
