VDP Programmer/Analyst

Job Description:Ajilon Consulting is looking for a VDP Programmer Analyst for our client in St. Charles, IL. This is a 6 month contract that will most likely be extended, or the client may offer a direct hire option. WORKING ON SITE AT THE CLIENT IS REQUIRED.Responsibilities: . Engage customers and sales to provide design consultation for web-based variable print solutions, moderate to complex in nature, for highly valuable customers. Program web-based variable print templates using Mpower by Pageflex. Program web user-interface to interact with variable print template. Online test/proofing of variable programming. Technical troubleshooting of programming and related systems. Insure successful test with print production. Insure communication and project coordination with multiple print facilities. Provide timely and accurate updates to Project Managers, sales, customers. Manage workload and delivery schedules to insure on-time delivery of quality programming work. Track time to insure accurate billing Scope of Responsibility:North America based B2B customers, contracting with WCSS/WBS enabled production facilities, utilizing CustomPoint variable print web-solutions. Job Experience:Job Knowledge & Skills: . VDP programming using MPower (Pageflex) or similar applications (GMC, XMPie, 3B2, PrintShop Mail, Acrobat Express, etc). Web UI development. Prepress experience. Offset printing, digital printing, web-to-print, print-on-demand. Knowledge of eCommerce applications. Experience in B2B markets: key markets: healthcare, insurance, financial services.WORKING ONSITE IS REQUIRED.Minimum Education Required: Bachelor
