Veterinary Technician-Atlanta

Our long established Animal Hospital, located in the northern part of Atlanta, is seeking to hire an experience VET TECHNICIAN.  The successful candidate will be both a team player and one who follows our "WE CARE" philosophy.  Responsibilities and duties include:

 

-Ability to draw blood from different blood vessels

-Ability to give injections, IVs, IMs and Sub-q's

-Knowledge of the majority of medication used in our pharmacy

-Be able to assist in Surgery-setting and maintaining surgical instruments

-Performing Lab work-urinalysis, fecal examinations, preparation of blood specimens for outside lab work

-Ability to assist in Radiology

-Willingness and ability to learn our software

-Outgoing personality and interest in interacting with clients

 

Knowledge of Spanish would be helpful.
