POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is an opportunity for a highly motivated, self-starter to assume a thought leadership role in the Synovate Diversity Solutions Center.  This is a senior-level position responsible for assisting with the design, sale and interpretation of custom research Diversity projects. 

Responsibilities include marketing company services, consultation with clients regarding research needs and objectives, and high-level consultation on research design, project proposal and pricing, and final results.

The primary goal of this position is to promote Diversity best practices and thought leadership while at the same time achieve revenue and profit objectives.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Build/promote Diversity business based on value added contribution to current clients and ensure Synovate delivers excellence

· Consult with business units to design and interpret Diversity research results to deliver business driving insights to clients

· Regularly meet with existing clients and develop relationships with new clients to pursue revenue generating Diversity opportunities for the organization in collaboration with business units

· Interact with other groups within the organization to explore opportunities that may generate additional revenue through a combined effort of various business groups

· Liaise with marketing team to stay abreast of industry hot topics (e.g. maximize opportunities to speak at client meetings and conferences, publish white papers, contribute to press releases, etc.) to further promote Diversity thought leadership

· Stay current on trends and developments as it relates to Diversity research

 

REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field and/or equivalent experience.  MBA, Masters, or Ph.D. degree a plus.

· Minimum of 15+ years experience in market research, specifically multicultural

· Excellent written and verbal communication. Bilingual ability (Spanish and English) preferred

· Demonstrated thought leadership in the multicultural markets

· Total understanding of the organization’s philosophy and objectives as they relate to market research 

· Thorough knowledge of the department’s policies and practices as they relate to market research initiatives.  Complete knowledge of Diversity research, both qualitative and quantitative

· Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external clients; experienced speaker in the multicultural industry

· Excellent organizational and leadership skills

· Proven ability in growing client account relationships

· Ability to provide high-level, strategic consultation to clients

· Commitment to teamwork and collaborative selling
