Vice President of Corporate Communications

We are seeking a Vice President of Corporate Communications that will develop a comprehensive corporate communications strategy.

 

Duties include:

·  Develop a comprehensive corporate communications strategy and plan to:

·  Communicate the key corporate messages to the public, customers, community, government and shareholders in order to enhance the corporation's image and promote its' public relations efforts;

·  Enhance and grow the working relationships with the communications media.

·  Handle the US execution and the worldwide coordination of this corporate communications strategy/plan.

·  Serve as spokesperson for the corporation and the US organization for industry, general, and business media.

·  Create a partnership and facilitate teamwork within the company with the business divisions (who are the internal customers), and the global organization.

·  Develop and implement a comprehensive worldwide employee communication program based on the needs of the senior management team (both corporate and division) to ensure the understanding, support, and active participation of the employees in all key business initiatives.

·  Develop a world-class corporate and US communications team.

 

 Desired Qualifications:

·  A qualified candidate will have previously and successfully held the position of Vice President of Corporate Communications in a large public company for a minimum of 3 years.

·  A degree in communications or the equivalent combination of education and communications-related experience is required.

·  Ten years' experience in a corporate setting is required, with technology experience strongly preferred.

·  Excellent verbal and written communication, editing and presentation skills are essential.

·  Must have excellent interpersonal skills to represent the company.

·  An understanding of and ability to work with senior management is required.

·  This position reports to the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
