WEB CONTENT MANAGER W/ MARKETING AND WEB DESIGN BKGD!!!

Job Description:Well known company is looking for a Web Content Manager in the Human Resources Department. The primary role of the Web Content Manager is to manage all web content related services. This includes coordination of planning, publishing, maintenance and accessibility, and generated online web content and content-related services. This position will ensure the format, layout, positioning, and navigation is consistent throughout the organization. LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS THE MARKETING AND DESIGN EXPERIENCE, BUT NOT SOMEONE WHO IS TOO TECHNICAL. Responsibilities: Act as a liaison with administrative departments and attorney practice groups with regards to online content publishing and management; Establish and distribute procedures which ensure the efficient and accurate submission/delivery of web content by Firm personnel; Work with developers to assess and resolve technical challenges in managing and displaying web content; Develop, evaluate, and implement new initiatives to improve site performance and usability; Ensure all web content meets established content management standards while maintaining consistency with site design requirements; Ensure information contained within published documents and data is approved, accurate, and updated regularly; Assist department-level content managers with writing and formatting submissions suitable for web publication; Work with Firm trainers to ensure content managers are trained as necessary; Maintain up to date best practices in web usability, web page design, and writing for the web; Oversee intranet information architecture and conduct regular user needs analyses; Ensure standards are implemented in all applications and content for search optimization; Manage site related day-to-day information submissions and updating activities. The ideal candidate will have at least two to three years of web content management or web design experience within a professional organization. A Bachelor's degree or a certificate in web design is preferred. You should also be skilled in basic web programming.
