WEB MARKETING MANAGER Activant is seeking a true marketer that is creative, execution-oriented, and results-driven. The Web Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and driving web content, web metrics, updates to web site design, ad words and search engine optimization. Must manage projects to completion, on-time and within budget. Although the position will be focused on managing the web site, the Web Marketing Manager will be another marketing team member called upon within team discussions to help with campaign planning, tactical help regarding major marketing programs and assisting with creative concepts. RESPONSIBILITIES:• Strategic planning and implementation of web marketing programs • Recommend content management processes as well as recommendations to improve the web site • Drive day-to-day activities such as content updates and managing internal and external resources • Coordinate and analyze web metrics • Project management, including driving content, securing resources and ensuring successful execution of the web site plans • Drive all project tasks and objectives across various departments including IT services, marketing peer groups, administration, and outside agencies ensuring projects are completed on time with high quality • Site maintenance and monitoring for best practices in navigation and Search Optimization. • Campaign tracking using Web Trends analytics, including coordination and analysis of web metrics • Understand database design and SQL queries. • Develop and maintain dynamic formsREQUIREMENTS:• Bachelor’s or other four-year degree, preferred degree in business administration, communications, or marketing • Minimum of five (5) years experience within a marketing communications department and/or agency with direct responsibilities related to the position, including creating dynamic database driven websites • Must present proof of excellent written, verbal, and graphic communications skills • Expertise in web site and content management & development • Experience using ColdFusion or ASP and Intermediate proficiency with SQL and database design • Mastery of HTML • Solid knowledge of CSS • Experience with web analytics and Search Engine Optimization is highly desirable as well as keyword analysis and ad word placement. • Previous experience selling, implementing or marketing ERP, CRM, supply chain or distribution applications is highly preferred • Is open to 5-10% travel PREFERRED SKILLS:• Macromedia Studio including Contribute • JavaScript • WebTrends • WebPosition • WordTracker • ActionScript 1.0 and or 2.0 • JavaScript, Ajax • Proficiency in Flash • Keep-It-Simple philosophyContact: jeannie.hermoso@activant.com Click here to APPLY NOW.
